We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in dental coding and billing and will have experience with Open Dental
**Responsibilities:**
- Review and process dental claims for accuracy and compliance
- Utilize medical coding knowledge to assign appropriate codes to procedures
- Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies
- Maintain detailed and organized patient records
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to dental services
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in medical collection systems and procedures
- Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in dental or medical administration is preferred
